September 2021 Examination Postponement
The National Teaching Council, on Wednesday 8th September 2021, released a circular informing all prospective examinees and heads of examination centers that the dates for the September examination have been moved back to October 23rd and 24th "due to circumstances beyond our control."
Sources from the Ministry of Education opine that the mass failure that characterised the May examination should be averted by allowing for more study time. The Ministry had earlier also instructed the Council to "create a web portal with thousands of sample questions for people to have the opportunity to practise and use to prepare for the national examination" for the same reason.
